According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) Reports have been made easier with the release of its ACE Portal Reports Dictionaries.
Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the CBP's electronic system through which the international trade community reports imports and exports to and from the U.S. and the government determines admissibility.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing that trade testing for ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) release M1 (e-Manifest: Ocean and Rail for advance cargo information purposes) will begin no sooner than September 2008.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message which states that at approximately 11:56 EDT on June 9, 2008 Automated Commercial Environment users began experiencing slow responses impacting CBP and Trade users. Service was expected to be restored at 13:30 EDT. CBP notes that updates will follow if necessary.
