U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted a notice to its web site inviting importers, brokers and truck carriers to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Exchange Conference on August 15-17, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois.

The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the CBP's electronic system through which the international trade community reports imports and exports to and from the U.S. and the government determines admissibility.

According to CBP, the toolkit provides a general overview of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and various components of key functionality.
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota (TRQ) commodity report as of April 10, 2006.
