According to U.S. government sources, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has decided to extend its document exams of certain entries of knit-to-shape garments in HTS 6110 which claim a country of origin other than China (i.e., that the garment's panels are knit-to-shape in a country other than China and then sent to China to be linked and looped).
(a) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above, the AD cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a third administrative message concerning the liquidation date change which resulted from June 11, 2004 being designated a "holiday." According to CBP, the Automated Commercial System (ACS) will automatically convert summaries with a liquidation date of June 11, 2004 to a liquidation date of June 14, 2004 to reflect the holiday designation. CBP adds that liquidation notices that went out to the trade indicating a liquidation date of June 11, 2004 will actually have a liquidation date of June 14, 2004. The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has issued a press release announcing that the signing of the U.S.-Morocco Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which was previously scheduled for June 11, 2004, has been postponed until June 15, 2004. According to the ITA, it will instruct CBP to assess AD duties, as indicated above, on all appropriate entries.
