Lifting some tariffs on some goods from China may help toward reducing U.S. inflation, Commerce Secretary Gino Raimondo said during a CNN interview June 5. "[W]e've decided to keep some of those [steel and aluminum] tariffs, because we need to protect American workers and ... our steel industry. That's a matter of national security," Raimondo said, but there are other tariffs on products like "household goods [or] bicycles ... [that] it may make sense" to eliminate in order to help American families, she said.
