Ammonium Sulfate Importer Files New CCR Request Seeking Partial Revocation of AD/CVD Orders

Importer Cambridge Isotope Laboratories told the Court of International Trade April 9 that following consultations with petitioner Committee for Fair Trade in Ammonium Sulfate, it has filed a new changed circumstances review request with the Commerce Department (Cambridge Isotope Laboratories v. U.S., CIT # 23-00080).

The customs suit, which concerns Cambridge's enriched ammonium sulfate, was previously stayed by the trade court pending consultations between the importer and petitioner for a partial revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on ammonium sulfate from China (see 2311020051). The suit was filed to contest CBP's assessment of the AD/CVD on the goods.

Cambridge previously told the court it's working with the domestic industry to partially revoke the orders that will lead to the filing of a second changed circumstances review petition with Commerce. The importer's filing shows the court that the request was made April 9.
