The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the weeks of April 10-16 and 17-23.
Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc., challenging the Commerce Department's final scope ruling that its 15N ammonium sulfate isotope is within the scope of the antidumping duty order on ammonium sulfate from China. #23-00080. Filed April 12.
Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, challenging the Commerce Department's final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on large power transformers from South Korea, covering entries in 2020-21. #23-00082. Filed April 17.
Water Pik Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its sonic fusion water flosser toothbrush, classified under Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 8424.89.9000, should be classified under subheading 8509.80.5045 and freed of Section 301 duty liability. #23-00083. Filed April 19.
Atlas Power LLC, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its NVIDIA CMP 170HX printed circuit assemblies, classified under Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 8473.30.1180, should be excluded from Section 301 duties. #23-00084. Filed April 19.
Safran Electronics and Defense, Avionics USA LLC, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its electric motor of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 8501.31.4000, dutiable at 4%, should be classified under subheading 8501.10.6040, dutiable at 2.8%. #23-00085. Filed April 21.
Spector & Co., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its notebooks of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 4820.10.20.60 should be classified under subheading 9802.00.50.60. #23-00087. Filed April 21.
