Fla. Senators Seek to Keep FirstNet Info Private

Florida senators added a bill on FirstNet confidential information to the Senate calendar Thursday. The Rules Committee voted 19-0 Wednesday to advance SB-7006, which would save from repeal a public records exemption for FirstNet. Unless the bill is passed, the exemption will expire Oct. 2, making FirstNet information in Florida no longer confidential.
