AST Says It Has Mobile Agreements Covering 1.5 Billion Subs

AST has agreements and memorandums of understanding signed with mobile network operators with 1.5 billion subscribers, it told FCC International Bureau Chief Tom Sullivan, discussing the status of its planned SpaceMobile constellation for satellite-based mobile connectivity. In a filing Thursday, it said construction of its satellite operations center and network operations is underway in Lanham, Maryland.
