The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the week of April 12-18:
van Gelder, Inc., challenging Customs and Border Protection's denial of its protest claiming that its floor covering (vinyl tiles) of subheading 3918.10.1000 qualify for Section 301 exclusions under secondary subheading 9903.88.01. #21-00160. Filed April 14.
Target Corporation, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming that its metal top ironing tables should be reliquidated according to the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Cemex, S.A. v. United States. #21-00162. Filed April 15.
Virtus Nutrition LLC, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming that its palm fatty acid distillates and palm stearin should not be barred from entry for claimed violation of the Withhold Release Order on palm oil products made by Sime Darby Plantation Bhd. #21-00165. Filed April 15.
Both-Well (Taizhou) Steel Fittings, Co., Ltd., challenging the Commerce Department's final results in the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on forged steel fittings from China covering entries in 2018. #21-00166. Filed April 15.
Garg Tube Export LLP and Garg Tube Limited, challenging the Commerce's final results in the antidumping duty administrative review on welded carbon steel standard pipes and tubes from India covering entries in 2018-2020. #21-00169. Filed April 16.
