Incipio Technologies, on the classification of wristlets and media player covers. CBP classified the merchandise under subheadings 4202.22.1500 (16%) and 3926.10.0000 (5.3%). Incipio says it should have instead been classified under subheadings 4202.32.1000 (4.6% + 12.1¢/kg) and 8473.30.5100 (free). #19-00137. Filed Aug. 6.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Aug. 5-11:

U.S. government, appealing a June 3 CIT decision that sustained Commerce's redetermination that zinc and nylon masonry anchors imported by Midwest Fastener are not nails and are not subject to antidumping and countervailing duties on steel nails from South Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Taiwan and Vietnam. #19-2226.
