The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the weeks of Aug. 5-11:

Committee Overseeing Action for Lumber International Trade Investigations or Negotiations, challenging Commerce's final results of the countervailing duty expedited review on softwood lumber from Canada. #19-00136. Filed Aug. 5.

Incipio Technologies, on the classification of wristlets and media player covers. CBP classified the merchandise under subheadings 4202.22.1500 (16%) and 3926.10.0000 (5.3%). Incipio says it should have instead been classified under subheadings 4202.32.1000 (4.6% + 12.1¢/kg) and 8473.30.5100 (free). #19-00137. Filed Aug. 6.

Foshan Yixin Stone Co., Ltd., challenging the Commerce Department's final determination in the antidumping duty investigation on quartz surface products from China. #19-00138. Filed Aug. 9.

Bruskin International LLC dba Belstone, challenging Commerce's final determination in the antidumping duty investigation on quartz surface products from China. #19-00139. Filed Aug. 9.

M S International, Inc., challenging Commerce's final determination in the antidumping duty investigation on quartz surface products from China. #19-00140. Filed Aug. 9.

M S International, Inc., challenging Commerce's final determination in the countervailing duty investigation on quartz surface products from China. #19-00141. Filed Aug. 9.

M S International, Inc., challenging the International Trade Commission's final injury determination in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on quartz surface products from China. #19-00142. Filed Aug. 9.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Aug. 5-11:

U.S. government, appealing a June 3 CIT decision that sustained Commerce's redetermination that zinc and nylon masonry anchors imported by Midwest Fastener are not nails and are not subject to antidumping and countervailing duties on steel nails from South Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Taiwan and Vietnam. #19-2226.
