Trade-Related Court Cases Filed for Week of Feb. 8-14

The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the week of Feb. 8-14:

Incase Design on the classification of cases for the iPad Mini. CBP classified the merchandise under subheadings 4202.92.9060 (17.6%) and/or 3926.90.9980 (5.3%). Incase says it should have instead been classified under subheading 4820.30.00 (free) and/or 8473.30.51 (free). #16-00026. Filed Feb. 9.

Clearon and Occidental Chemical challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on chlorinated isocyanurates from China. #16-00027. Filed Feb. 10.

Chemtall Incorporated on the classification of carboxyamid-function compounds and amide-function compounds of carbonic acid. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 2924.19.8000 (6.5%). Chemtall says it should have instead been classified under subheading 2924.19.1110 or 2924.19.1150 (both 3.7%). #16-00028. Filed Feb. 12.
