Jacobi Carbons challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on activated carbon from China. #15-00286. Filed Oct. 19.

Maquilacero challenging a Commerce Department scope ruling issued July 27 that found its unstenciled pipe is not exempt from the scope of antidumping duties on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe from Mexico (see 1508120023). #15-00287. Filed Oct. 20.

Launchpad, Inc. Sleepypod/Cinetactics on the classification of pet carriers. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 4202-92-9060 (17.6%). Launchpad says it should have instead been classified under subheading 6307.90.9889 (7%). #15-00288. Filed Oct. 21.

Jinxiang Kaihua Imp & Exp Co., Ltd. challenging the results of an antidumping duty new shipper review on fresh garlic from China. #15-00289. Filed Oct. 21.

Carbon Activated Corporation challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on activated carbon from China. #15-00290. Filed Oct. 23.

Ningxia Huahui Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on activated carbon from China. #15-00291. Filed Oct. 23.

Central Gulf Lines challenging CBP's assessment of a 50% duty on its vessel spare parts that it says are exempt as a vessel repair entry. #15-00292. Filed Oct. 23.

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Oct. 19-25:

American Home Assurance Co. appealing an Aug. 19 CIT decision that found it could not challenge CBP's assessment of post-liquidation interest because it didn't challenge the underlying denied protest (see 1508200013). #16-1088, -1090. Filed Oct. 20.
