Turkey Welded Pipe: Prelim Results of CV Admin Review

The International Trade Administration issued the preliminary results of the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe from Turkey (C-489-502) for two companies. The CV rate for both companies under review was found to be de minimis1. These CV rates are not in effect. The ITA may modify them in the final results of this review and change the estimated CV cash deposit rate for these companies.

1As both Borusan (0.27%) and Toscelik (0.35%) have been preliminarily found to have de minimis rates, if the final results remain the same as these preliminary results, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to liquidate without regard to CV duties all shipments of subject merchandise produced by Borusan and Toscelik entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption from 01/01/10 through 12/31/10. The ITA will also, should the final results remain the same, instruct CBP not to collect cash deposits of estimated CV duties on all shipments of the subject merchandise produced by Borusan and Toscelik, entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after the date of publication of the final results of this review.
