1The ITA has determined to revoke the order, effective August 1, 2010, with respect to carbon steel flat products from Korea produced and exported to the U.S. by the collective entity of Pohang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd. because (i) the entity had zero or de minimis dumping margins for the last three consecutive years and sold in commercial quantities, (ii) the entity has agreed to immediate reinstatement of the order if the ITA finds that it has resumed dumping, and (iii) the continued application of the order is not otherwise necessary to offset dumping.
2The review-specific average rate is applicable to the following companies: LG Chem., Ltd.; Haewon MSC Co. Ltd.; LG Hausys, Ltd.; and Dongkuk Industries Co., Ltd.
(The review period is 08/01/09 -- 07/31/10. See ITA's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, changes from the preliminary results, etc. See ITT's Online Archives 11090611 for summary of preliminary results of this review.)
