ACE CBP Forms 28, 29 & 4647 Are Not Posting for ACS Entry Summaries
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message stating that it is aware that certain forms created by CBP in the Automated Commercial Environment for Automated Commercial System entry summaries are not being posted to the "Task List" in the importer's ACE account portal.
CBP Forms 28, 29, and 4647 Not Posting to Importer's Task List
CBP states that CBP Form 28 (Request for Information), CBP Form 29 (Notice of Action), and CBP Form 4647 created in ACE by CBP for ACS entry summaries are not being posted to the "Task List" in the importer's ACE account portal so that they can view and take action on the forms.
CBP is making every effort to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will notify trade participants as soon as it is resolved.
Importers Can Run Forms Status Report to View All Forms CBP Issued
Although the forms are not being posted to the "Task List," importers can still run ESM 7025 (CBP Form 28, 29, 4647 Status Report) to view all forms that have been issued for an importer of record number(s). Importers can also schedule the ESM 7025 report to run weekly using date objects and the report will display all forms issued the last week.
Importers Should Check That Both Portal and Mail as Form Modes Selected
In the meantime, importers are reminded to ensure they have selected both portal and U.S. mail as modes of communication for receiving CBP forms. This will ensure that importers continue to receive forms by mail in a timely manner and can respond to them.
Forms Created in ACE for ACE Entry Summaries Not Impacted
Forms created by CBP in ACE for ACE entry summaries are not impacted and will be posted to the "Task List" if the importer has selected portal as one of their modes of communication.
